<strong>67%<\/strong> of young Thai men have had sex by the <strong>age of 17<\/strong>, and more than half reported engaging in unprotected sex.<sup>1<\/sup><\/h2>\n\n<hr class=\"mh-spacer mh-spacer--6f5d3cf7848c12895ac7904e59650932\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\n\n\n<hr class=\"mh-separator mh-separator--6c3069e0c47cae6db300b3316043f240\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\n\n\n<hr class=\"mh-spacer mh-spacer--c29e61cc83a524df8c8270c3b37add54\" aria-hidden=\"true\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p\n    class=\"mh-hero-11-content__text mh-paragraph mh-paragraph--center mh-paragraph--align-center mh-paragraph--42c6a256cea2d019d847c896957d5f5d\"\n    >\n    <em>Without safe sex practices, <strong>the risk of getting HPV and its related diseases increases<\/strong> with each new sexual partner a man may have throughout his lifetime.<\/em><sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p\n    class=\"mh-hero-11-content__text mh-paragraph mh-paragraph--center mh-paragraph--align-center mh-paragraph--da497c3bf3832922966539af4c8e0176\"\n    >\n    Consequently, the incidence of HPV-related cancers in Thai men, such as oral and throat cancers, has been steadily rising about the past decade.<sup>3<\/sup> <br \/>\nAt the same time, <strong>about 88% of genital warts cases have been attributed to HPV.<\/strong><sup>4<\/sup><strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"mh-box mh-box--align-full mh-box--ce655f4550f082468befea43337b4907 mh-box--no-background-image\">\n    \n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><section class=\"mh-hero-11 mh-hero-11--c528a611666d66f9e2a9966f4f74735f mh-hero-11--ltr mh-hero-11--align-full\">\n    <div class=\"mh-hero-11__image\">\n HPV infection rate is <strong>highest among men who have sex with men,<\/strong> with anal HPV infection affecting 85% of HIV-positive men and 58.5% of HIV-negative men.<sup>5<\/sup> Another study reported that <strong>almost 50% of Thai men had been exposed to HPV by the age of 21.<\/strong><sup>6<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p\n    class=\"mh-hero-11-content__text mh-paragraph mh-paragraph--left mh-paragraph--align-center mh-paragraph--78ae8be57b65329c7ccdfcbb3ae93cd8\"\n    >\n    No matter what your sexual orientation or gender identity may be, all sexually active men are at risk of HPV.<sup>7<\/sup> Taking action to get protected can help reduce the impact of HPV infections in Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p\n    class=\"mh-hero-11-content__text mh-paragraph mh-paragraph--left
